A stream of formless anticipation straddles a shooting star
Consumed like a flame in a tunnel of perpetual death
Forever immortalized and tattooed in slumbers stillness
Clandestine truths toll loudly within intuition’s shrillness

I watch the mirrored luster of compassion caress your lips
And long for that trembling kiss as consecrated thought
Embraces with the ardor of a newlywed’s first explosion
I know not the impassioned whirlwind of your undulating hips
Or from whence the covenstead of intoxication was brought
But truth be known I am fully aware of our majestic implosion
And the fragrance of your flowering essence funneled from above
